Being incarcerated causes you to deal with many issues during and after your sentences; Such as family separation, job loss, physical and mental health needs, abuse history, and transitional re-entry Issues. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, you face many society barriers. Women make up the fastest growing prison population.

Why Our Work Matters...Female prisoners are the fastest growing segment of inmates. 4-9% come into prison pregnant, and female recidivism rate is 42% compared to males 39%. Over 60% of women in prison are Black or Hispanic yet these groups only make up 24% of the United States population
